H.J. Namdar is a fine jewelry designer and manufacturer. This website is for jewelry retailers and trade partners. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you apply for an account: your name, store name, email address, phone number, city, state, website and anything you write to us. When you use your account: the pieces you add to an assortment, the requests and orders you send, your appointments, quote requests, and the notes you add. When you write to us through the site — the concierge chat, the suggestion box, "Not seeing your SKU?", or an appointment booking — what you type, with the name, store and email you give. When you search by photo: the photo you choose is used to find matching pieces and is not kept by us. If you press "Send this photo to our team", the photo and your note are emailed to our team so we can help. When you visit: which pages are viewed and where the visit came from, recorded without advertising cookies or third-party trackers, so we can see how the site is used.
How we use it
To review applications and run your account; to answer requests, prepare quotes, assortments and orders; to confirm and manage appointments; to send you emails about your account and requests; to keep the site secure and working; and to improve it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers, each only for its part of the service: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database and sign-in), Resend (sending email), Anthropic (the concierge chat and search by photo), Stripe (payment for paid website-gallery plans — we never see your full card number), Wix (product photo hosting) and Instagram (our photo feed). Signing in with Google, Microsoft or Apple shares your name and email address with us through that service.
Retailers' website galleries
If your store shows our pieces on its own website, a shopper's price and availability request goes to your store by email. We don't keep the shopper's name, contact details or message; we keep only which piece was asked about, so it can be listed on the store's account.
On your device
The site keeps a few things in your own browser so it works smoothly: staying signed in (if you choose), your assortment in progress, and drafts of forms. You can clear these at any time by signing out or clearing your browser's site data.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active and as long as our business and legal records require. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or close your account, by writing to web@hjnamdar.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Security
Sign-in is by a one-time email link or code, or a trusted provider — we never store a password for you. Information travels over encrypted connections, and trade pricing and account details are shown only to approved, signed-in accounts.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not meant for anyone under 18.
